BCE Nexxia’s DEA service is an alternative to dedicated facilities for traditional calling needs such as dial tone, fax and dial up internet. Ideally suited for sessional and bursty applications, DEA is available in geographic areas where ISDN is not available..
Replacing analog trunks with full pipe DS-1,(1.544Mbps) access, DEA is chanelized into 24 DS-O time slots at a speed of 8Kpbs. It offers assured digital connectivity to the Digital Switched Network up to 56 Kbps.
Using DEA service customers can assign trunking usage with their calling patterns over one pipe and therefore cut costs in PBX hardware equipment.
Customers benefit from a wide range of options to customize the service to their needs. Inward dialing, outward dialing and combination service can be specified to suit the needs of the caller. Additionally, toll-free services are available and preferred dedicated access to connect only those long distance calls specified by the customer
